New Stairs Project

  • Simple pine stairs built in situ to enable the stairs to fit between two doors.
  • If natural stone is your preference, no problem. This staircase is also curved.
  • We often cast the stairs in reinforced concrete. The moulds look scruffy: the finished stairs don't.
  • Here you can see the steel reinforcing bars before we pour in the concrete.
  • Stairs in a tight space can be a safety problem. Too steep or too narrow can be dangerous especially for children and the elderly.
  • Open treads are not recommended. They can kill children and as the treds have little support you will have more movement that a normal flight of stairs.
  • Bespoke stairs, banisters and newels make a real difference to any refurbishment project.
  • Spirals, half turns or full turns we can design and create a special staircase for your own personal application.
  • This concrete spiral staircase is going to be faced in luxurious marble. It could also have been tiled or covered in Brazilian hardwoods.
